Welcome to RoccoThinks.

Here, I'll be exploring the fascinating world of psychology to analyze technology, news, ads, and daily life. My goal is to bring the insights of scientific psychology to a wider audience, so we can all understand how our minds work and how we can improve our mental health and skills to succeed in today's world.

Who am I?

I’m Christiano Rocco, an experienced creative director in advertising, with a background in communications and a current MSc Psychology candidate at the University of Exeter. I’ve worked for big brands and agencies, and my journey has taken me across Europe, enriching my perspective and expertise. Born in Brazil and currently residing in Berlin, my newsletter is part of my ongoing journey in learning and sharing the wonders of psychology.

What can you expect?

Every week, I look at different aspects of our lives through the lens of psychology. Whether it's the latest tech trends, political news, or everyday things, I bring up theories and recent studies to explain them and highlight potential risks associated with policies, legislation, technology, and products. Additionally, I aim to help you improve your mental health, optimise your talents, and handle the challenges of the modern world.

Who is this for?

This newsletter is for anyone interested in psychology – from curious minds seeking evidence-based insights to professionals and students in the field. In the sea of "pop psychology", I try to offer scientifically grounded perspectives that spark conversations and debates.
